When planning a shore dive or a boat dive always check the WEATHER!. During the run up to a dive, ie days before, the night before and hours before.

When in doubt and all is against you, as dive marshall - CALL IT OFF - Theres always next week.

Winds:
Are the most important consideration to divers in Cornwall.
Check:
If off-shore on-shore.
South-easterly: Usually blows out Porthoustock/Porthkerris if too strong.
North/north-easterly/North-westerly: Makes north coast difficult.
